Infiniti QX50 – The World's First Coupe Crossover

The Infiniti QX50 redefines the joy of driving with its powerful stance and coupe-inspired look and performance.

Under the bonnet, this crossover vehicle is powered by a 3.7-litre 326-HP engine — an upgrade of the previous V6 engine which has earned accolades. The Variable Valve Event and Lift translate to outstanding performance and enhanced fuel efficiency and lower emissions.

The QX50’s Intelligent All-Wheel Drive feature distributes power to where it is most needed. This feature monitors vehicle speed, wheel spin and throttle position and can channel as much as 50 percent power to the front wheels during adverse driving conditions, thus enhancing traction.

The Around View Monitor is comprised of four exterior cameras strategically placed in every side of the vehicle, giving the driver a 360-degree view, as well as an enhanced rearward view. The cameras feed images to the in-dash monitor and give the driver a warning signal when an object is detected.

The Infiniti Hard Drive Navigation System makes navigation easier. This feature utilizes the latest touch-screen hard drive navigation system with Birdview perspective control and 3D building graphics. This feature is complemented by the Lane Guidance system which alerts the driver when he is using the correct lane toward an interchange or exit.

The Infiniti Controller is an intuitive interface that enables the driver and his passengers to communicate with the QX50. This controller system gives you full control over vehicle information, navigation, audio, climate control and other primary and secondary systems.

A quick peek inside the QX50’s interiors will leave you in awe and make you feel a sense of relaxation and invigoration. This is achieved through the use of smooth materials which give a uniquely organic feel. Combined with the interior’s sweeping contours which draw inspiration from contemporary and classical influences, you’ll see the attention to detail and craftsmanship.

The front seats draw inspiration from the Japanese Kimono, giving both the driver and the passenger a contoured and tailored fit.

With the QX50’s memory system, the vehicle’s settings can be based on the driver’s needs. The system can be preprogrammed for two different drivers, and this includes different settings for the driver’s seat, steering wheel and outside mirrors. When the driver adjusts his seat, the mirrors and steering wheels automatically calibrate their positions to compensate and maintain proportional distance. The steering wheel’s power tilt and telescoping features give the driver the power to adjust the steering wheel to the optimal height and feel.

The QX50’s second-row seats can be conveniently folded up or down using power buttons, giving you ample room for cargo and passengers.
